Bill Mitchell, Harley Earl, and Virgil Exner all went through the same thing at the end of their careers, where they tried to top themselves despite being past their peak, with questionable results.
However, I will admit to kind of having a thing for the bustle back Sevilles, especially in the Elegante trim with 2-tone paint. Does a better job of emphasizing the design inspiration.
